• Recent High Price Event: The electricity market saw extreme market prices in multiple regions at the same time between 29 July and 5 August. Given the broad nature of this event, we undertake a detailed investigation of the assets involved and their performance.
• Peak Reserve Margin Conditions: Expanding the analysis period to 2021-2024, the reserve margin assessment provides an indication of the asset class capture of the daily peak conditions.
